wk 6

A November’s City Night
On a cool fall November night,
I walk alone in the dark night sky
Letting the breeze hit my curly black long hair
A smile grows upon from the looking of a strangers stare
Glancing off into an impression of a dark hazy meadow children run by in laughter
A lady is lying on the curb of the street asking for change.
I have a hazy recollection of having met her
As pedestrians cross her way, not a gaze of admiration
Speaks upon a strangers face as a shout is coming from the lady
Tourists smile and admire tall building lights gleaming out
Catches the eye, oh such a pretty sight appearing to contribute a blissful feeling
Aroma feels the mist air of delightful food from passing stores on the path of 5 Avenue
People yell out for yellow taxi cabs to bring them to their destination
Hurrying along the crowded streets as rain drops glisten falling down your jacket
Subway and buses come and they go, but the city remains with that bright light glow
