Week #5

10/15/12

Little Joann watches the clock as it hits 3:00pm

Five more minutes and she can escape away.

Coloring and pasting, painting, and nap time,

These are the things a 5 year old does in

 A school day or, maybe their spare time.

Walks to the corner store to pick up snacks

Mommy and daddy still working but

She makes it home to see her Grandparents

Scruffy, her dog, and Goldie her fish.

Starts her HW without any help, and then waits for dinner

And her parents arrival. Still not home and looking out

The window, Little Joann is scared of the change in

Her daily routine, Grandma gives her a bath and listens to

Her bed time story before you know it she’s fast asleep.

Not to worry her parents were running home late, but

In the morning she will see their faces and knowing her dreams

Came true.
